  2. Type "lamuwater(put a space) Account Number" e.g Lamuwater 37600100001
  3. Send to 20880.
Wait for response, It only takes a few seconds.

  • Send to 20880.
  • Wait for response, It only takes a few seconds.
  • What Payment Methods Are Available?

    Lamu Water and Sewerage Company do not receive cash payment for monthly water bill payment.

    You can pay for your water bills through M-Pesa or you can visit the nearest ABC and KCB Banks office to pay.

    For M-Pesa,

    Go to your phone M-Pesa menu and select Lipa na M-Pesa and select Pay bill option.

    Enter 862269 as the business number

    Then your 10 digit account number without any spaces. eg. 37600100010

    Enter the amount you wish to pay, then your pin and that’s it.

    You should receive a confirmation message within five minutes for Mpesa payments.

    When is my account due for disconnection?

    Monthly water bills are produced every beginning of the month and the bills are dispatched via Email and SMSs to the customers.

    All accounts with unpaid water bills will be due for disconnection from the 15th of every month.

    A disconnected account attracts a reconnection fee of Ksh. 1,000.00
